Creative Coaching : Doing And BeingIncreasingly coaches and coaching supervisors are looking for approaches to their work which, crudely put, are more than just words. That is to say, the use of imagery, movement, role-play and analogy can open up many exciting possibilities for helping the client make progress. This book, I should hasten to add, does not aim to list and describe a range of techniques. Rather I seek to describe the underlying rationale and philosophy of approaches to coaching which are ‘beyond words’. From this foundation I hope that readers will be further encouraged to explore and utilise their own uniquely creative skills, using them for the mutual benefit of their clients and themselves.
