Core text for the CIPD Certificate in Organisational Coaching

Coaching In Organisations : Between The Lines

In my work I am always keen to explore the links between individual actions and the wider cultural context.  With this in mind I decided to write a book which recognised that when coaching takes place there are often other presences in the room..........though of course not actually physically present ! In other words there can be many others who have a stake in the process and the outcome of the coaching.

Also, having completed my Diploma in Coaching , I wanted to confirm my learning as much to myself as others.  An important element here was recognising some of the ‘mistakes’ I had made, such as : becoming too wedded to a particular coaching format, being overly-invested in the client changing and failing to review the current validity of the coaching objectives.
